How to use Sticky Sludge Stripper

 A Sludge Stripper is a chemical specifically designed to remove slime, biofilm and algae from industrial circulating water systems. Below are some key points and recommendations when using a Sludge Stripper:

1. Dosing rate:

- As a slime stripper: the recommended dosage is usually 100-200 milligrams per liter (mg/L) based on the amount of water retained in the system.

- As an algaecide: the recommended dosage is 50-100 mg/L. 2.

2. Special case treatment:

- If there are more algae in the system, in order to get faster killing and stripping effect, the dosage of KR-409 can be increased appropriately.

3. Fouling removal:

- After the use of KR-409, if the circulating water appears to be fouled due to the stripping effect, these floating materials should be removed in time to prevent them from being redeposited in the system.

4. Avoid mixing:

- Mud strippers should not be mixed with anionic surfactants such as polyacrylic acid (PAA) or hydroxypropylmethylacrylate (HPMA).

- Similarly, slime strippers should not be used in conjunction with chlorophenolic agents, as these mixes may reduce the effectiveness of the agent or produce adverse reactions.

5. Safe handling:

- Appropriate safety measures, including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and protective clothing, should be taken when handling Mucus Stripper.

- Safety guidelines on the Product Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or product labeling should be followed.

6. Waste disposal:

- Post-use KR-409 and wash-out waste should be disposed of in accordance with local environmental regulations.

7. monitoring and adjustment:

- Following application of the slime stripper, system performance and water quality should be monitored to ensure that desired results are achieved. If necessary, adjust the dosage according to actual conditions.

8. Records and Reports:

- Record the process and results of using the sludge stripper for future maintenance and reference.
